Custom Compostable Bag Sizes & Dimensions
There is no single “standard” custom size that works for every application.
The correct dimensions depend on what the bag must fit, how it will be sealed, how much material it must hold and how it will be packed.
For a simple flat bag, the main dimensions may only be:
Width × Length
For more complex structures, the specification may include:
Width + Gusset × Length
or additional dimensions for:

- adhesive area

Why Finished Dimensions Matter
Two bags with the same nominal width can behave very differently if one has a side gusset and the other does not.
Likewise, a T-shirt bag cannot be evaluated only by the central body width because the gussets and handle structure are also part of the finished film configuration.
